Dear Camp Families,
Thank you for your patience regarding registration for 2020 Summer Camps. After thoroughly reviewing the CDC guidelines for summer youth programs, we have made the difficult decision not to hold Summer Camps this year.
Over the last several months, we’ve spoken with parents, listening to your questions, concerns, and hopes for your children’s learning opportunities this summer. We continue to review CDC, state, and county guidelines for youth programs as they evolve. Ultimately, we concluded that safely providing the high quality, hands-on art and science experiences that make camps at CMOA and CMNH unique is not possible at this time. We realize that this decision may significantly impact your summer plans and regret any inconvenience or disappointment it causes for you and your campers.
All registrations for 2020 Summer Camps are eligible for a full refund. If you would like to support our Scholarship Fund, you can donate all or a portion of your registration to support campers with financial need next summer. If a team member from Program Registration has not you contacted yet, please expect to receive an email soon that will explain how to process your refund or donation.
Our commitment to you remains the same: to provide a safe, welcoming, fun learning experience every summer. We are actively developing an exciting set of virtual programs for summer learning and are hopeful that we’ll be able to welcome you back to the museum galleries soon.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
