Carnegie Museum of Art
4400 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Price: $305 (Members: $280)

What could be more fun than transforming wet clay into an object of your own design? The art of ceramics combines technical skill with imagination. Learn how to raise a form on the potter’s wheel and practice a variety of hand-building techniques. Make boxes, bowls, and cups, or sculpt animal and human forms that are realistic or abstract. Select and apply glazes to give your work its finished appearance. Find inspiration in the museum’s outstanding collection of ceramic art. Projects will be fired and available for pick-up 3–4 weeks after camp. Materials fee included in price.

Last day to register is June 19, 2019.
