Whether you are a skilled potter or eager to get your hands into wet clay for the first time, this workshop will provide expert guidance to achieve your artistic goals. Learn how to raise a form on the potter’s wheel and practice a variety of hand-building techniques, all inspired by the museum’s outstanding collection of ceramic art. Select and apply glazes to give your work its finished appearance. You’ll even visit the kiln room to learn about the firing process. Work will be fired and available for pick-up three to four weeks after the workshop. All materials are provided.
Campers will meet at the Courtyard Entrance to the museum each morning.
