Have you ever wondered how graphics are reproduced on T-shirts, posters, or sneakers? Printmaking allows you to create multiple versions of an original image, sometimes making subtle changes from one to the next. To see this art in practice, you’ll visit the museum’s galleries and view examples by master printmakers, learn historical techniques like etching, and modern processes like silkscreen. Learn the types of images and levels of detail that work best for each technique and what curators notice when evaluating prints. You can even reuse your experimental printed materials to create brand new mixed-media artworks. All materials are provided.
Campers will meet at the Courtyard Entrance to the museum each morning.
Last day to register is June 20, 2018.
