Experimental Filmmaking

Price: $350 (Members: $325)

Merge sound, light, and imagery to create dynamic film artworks. Experiment with nonnarrative forms of storytelling through abstracting techniques like long cuts, rapid editing, out-of-focus, and image altering. Explore the film’s progression by investigating celluloid through modern iPhone production and complete a short film of your own. Enjoy and discuss a curated work from the Film Series on Saturday, August 3, with your classmates and screen your works for the public. This program will occasionally meet outside of Carnegie Museum of Art’s campus.

The last day to register for this camp is July 24, 2024.
